FAQ's
Do you require a deposit?
No deposit required to confirm your booking. Performance fee is due the day of the party, I accept, check, cash and all major credit cards.
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your performance up to a week before the performance date with no penalty. If the show is cancelled with less than a weeks’ notice, you will be responsible for payment of the fee in full, although this may be applied to a future party.
How far in advance should I book?
I am fortunate enough to be very busy with lots of fun parties! Most of my shows are booked 1-2 months in advance. However, last-minute bookings may be available.
Do you provide goodie bags or favors?
I do. My goal is to always help parents make the birthday child’s day easy, but special and stress free. I offer party extras such as magician top hats & magic wands. These party favors will save you time, money & the kids will love them! You can purchase these after you’ve scheduled your party.
Can you perform outdoors?
In the spring and summer I do many outdoor shows. Most of those are done through my other business (Bucks Ice Cream and Magic) between the months of April – October. You get a magic show and an ice cream truck. During the late fall and winter months I would need to perform the show indoors.
How much space do you need?
Not much at all. Usually living rooms are the perfect place for the show. As long as there is enough space for kids to sit, there is enough space for us to perform. I’m flexible and easy to work with, so there is always a way to make the show great!
Should we serve the kids food or drinks during the show?
A child with food or drinks during the show is a HUGE distraction for the kids. Not only eating the snack but also the serving and cleaning up that takes place. Not to mention the accidents that occurs. The highlights of the show are based on audience interaction and participation… the children need their hands to be free so they can enjoy being a part of the show. Serving after the show will help facilitate a much better experience for everyone.
For what age group do you perform?
4 - 9 years of age. My show is tailored to each age group. The 4 year old show is a lot different than the 9 year old show.
What cities in North/South Carolina do you go to?
I perform in the greater Charlotte area, and in Gastonia, Mooresville, Rock Hill, Denver, Waxhaw, Indian Trail and all points in between. I can travel a little further but there is a modest travel fee.
Is tipping necessary?
Tipping is at your discretion. If you feel that you received value above and beyond your expectations it is always appreciated. However, I guarantee the same level of quality and professionalism regardless.
Is there anything you need me to provide?
Nope, I am completely self contained. However, if you have dogs or cats if you can have them away from the show area that is helpful, as I do have a live bunny there.
Can we celebrate more than one child's birthday?
Absolutely, it's just twice the fun!
